Rag dolls are one of the oldest children’s toys in existence, providing comfort along with the opportunity to learn nurturing skills. Johnnycake Flats Rag Dolls are handmade, one at a time at our farmhouse. Each is special, no two alike, named after a childhood friend or favorite person. Each doll is clothed with a pretty dress, coordinating bloomers and either a necklace or brooch. The unique hair is made with 50-60 strips of fabric, individually hand-tied onto its own button. Facial features are hand embroidered, making them soft and lovable for children and adults alike! Clothing and body made with 100% cotton and filled with polyester fill.
