The Train Room

This room is for train enthusiasts being gently rocked twice a day as the “Vermonter” (Amtrak) rolls on by. The country cottage décor includes several quilts designed by the innkeeper and an unusual corner hutch which doubles as a small library.
Hilary’s Garden Room
(Double bed, shared bath)
Rate: $85-115/night*
This room is a special treat in all seasons, but especially in springtime
when the scent of
apple blossoms drift in. The garden theme is enhanced by a hand quilted
flower basket quilt.
It is bright, with lots of windows overlooking the perennial and veggie
gardens.
The Birdhouse Room
(Two twin beds, shared bath)
Rate: $85-115/night*
This room is very cheery and is ideal for traveling companions and children. The décor includes matching pineapple beds accented with lovely embroidered pillows as well as a birdhouse perched on an exposed corner beam. Views include gardens, ponds, and woods- all potential homes to many a nesting bluebird, tree swallow and goldfinch.
The Spring Room
(Day bed with trundle, shared bath)
Rate: $85-115/night*
This cozy room was appropriately named for the bubbling spring heard through the window. This spring which has been rerouted to feed our upper pond , once provided water for the stagecoach trade. During the summer months a chorus of resident frogs may also provide some entertainment!
